Hi, i downloaded the latest driver on lg's website then to my phone. When i try to open it on my phone it says " file type not supported". Anyone know how to fix this?

Why do you need it on your phone? The drivers are just so that you can use the device on your PC for file transfer, updates, etc. Phones don't support the file type

Sent from my Galaxy S4 running SlimKat 4.4.2

Don't take this the wrong way, but if you're not very knowledgeable with this stuff, I suggest you don't root your phone. If you don't know what you're doing, you can do some serious damage to it.

The phone is practicaly useless with 1.2 gigs of storage anyway. If icould root it it will keep me from buying a new one. I have virgin mobile, andriod v. 4.1.2, sv, LS720ZV6.
