Lg G flex 2 problems

I bought a new in the box lg g flex 2 (sprint) off ebay. Two months after using it the screen went blank with only a slim white vertical line across the top. So I could see no usable video. It also started clicking about every 5 second's. Holding the power button would not reset it. Even with holding volume down button. But without video I couldn't tell what was happening. I had to open the case and disconnect the battery. All seems to be well now but I don't have much confidence in re-activating the device as I was unusable until I dis-assembled and unplugged battery and re-connected. Is there another way to hard reset it without removing 13 screws and unplugging the battery?

One thing I noticed when I opened the case is the was a sticker inside it "not for sale" Thought that was interesting.

Hey there.

I'm afraid that the 3 words "not for sale" meant that you got a device that was previously used as a floor model in a store, so it's been abused to no-end for about a year.

I don't think LG is able to do anything since it's not an actual retail unit. Sorry to say, but you might have to hunt around for another phone.
