LG G Pad 8.3 Google Play Edition: Better Battery Life?

Hey everyone,

I understand that the regular G Pad isn't the best choice in terms of battery life. The 4600 mAh battery is supposed to be drained after relatively short time -- at least that's what's come to my ears so far. Do you expect the Google Play Edition to have a noticeable increase in battery life, without the LG UI and feature apps sucking its juice and waiting for a KnockOn 24/7?

I don't have bad battery life on my G Pad and I don't think there's that much bloat on the standard version. I wouldn't expect it change much with the GPe version.
