LG G Watch R - Set the time correctly?

Hi All,

I just bought the watch but my phone is too old to fully set up Android Wear (HTC One XL, Android 4.2.2). I'm upgrading next week but looking for a short term solution.

I paired the watch and phone using bluetooth which let the watch go through its setup and enabled it to be used as a regular watch, however the time is wrong. I can't find anything in the settings to change the time as I assume it just synchronises with the phone when paired fully.

Is there a way to manually set the time on the watch itself?

Unfortunately I don't think so as it gets the time from your phone, I could be wrong though.
