LG G2 Android reboots every 10 seconds, too quick for factory reset, hard reset doesn't work

This phone was purchased unlocked about 7 months ago. now on Tmobile network, but since unlocked not sure whether I should post here or there.

It reboots every 10 seconds which is too quick to do the factory reset.

Have tried the Hard Reset at least 30 times using a few different methods (all variations on Power & volume down buttons), but it never gets the Factory Reset Menu.. just goes black.

It has been acting a bit strange for a few days, so it might have some malware.

Can't remove the battery, but we did let it drain to zero.

LG says it's Best Buy's problem because it is an 'international' phone, Best buy says it's LG's problem.

Any Ideas?

Welcome to Android Central! Moved to the main G2 forum.

Did you buy it brand new or used/refurbished from Best Buy? Was there any warranty? I'm guessing it wasn't brand new, considering it's a G2, so any warranty is probably expired. LG should still be able to accept it for repair, but you'll have to pay. Otherwise, you could bring it to a local repair shop, and see if they can help.

It was purchased new (not refurb) from online Best Buy in January of this year.

LG is saying they will do nothing because it is an 'international' model. They claim it is not their responsibility because it was made in India... (huh.. ??) and it actually says on the back it was made in Korea. We've called 3 times, because we were sure someone was just confused... but gettting the same line every time.
Not impressed with LG.

Took it to local repair shop, but they don't have any ideas.

Why has OP created 2-3 user names to post the exact same question 2-3 different times as all new threads??

I only saw a duplicate thread that the OP presumably posted without logging in (i.e., as "AC Question"). Did you see others? I already closed the other thread, directing further responses here.
