LG G2 Battery life terrible!!!

Over the past few weeks my battery life starts to dive first thing in the morning (6am) and is down to 20% at around 8pm, I only check Facebook a few times and send maybe 5 texts through the day, my battery use was great until the kk update , I did a FDR after the kk update as was suggested here in the forums, my battery graph just nosedives in the morning and continues down like there is a continual drain on it .

Any helpful suggestions to rectify battery life?

Can you post a picture of the batt stats? What's your 'top 3' battery chompers?

Screen 42%, cell standby 13%, phone idle 7%, Google play services 6%

Sounds consistent for a phone that's mostly 'sleeping', but then it shouldn't last so little... On your batt stats, does the device appear as 'awake' during screen-off?

You could also try to to do clear cache on Google Play Services, just in case, but I thought it would have been on a higher spot if it were the culprit...

Are any options that were once 'off' now 'on'? Like location services using GPS all the time or something like that?

It really sounds like your phone isn't sleeping properly... Are you rooted? Have you installed GSAM, it provides much more information.

I notice you are only on 3G, are you perhaps in a poor signal area and switching back and forth between 3G and 4G? That can have a detrimental affect on your battery life. I know when I travel through an area with poor signal, it does have a negative impact on my battery life. Just a thought.

Well, now Play Services has shot up to number 2 spot... Try clearing the cache for it or Uninstalling Updates, reboot, let it re-update itself and then reboot again.
