LG G2 "Home" crashes and or phone freezes after Kit Kat install

My Home screen disappears (Black screen) and/or the phone freezes on a regular basis since I installed Kit Kat (via my laptop). A reboot always temporarily resolves the issue. Occasionally I get something like "Home has shutdown" message.

Hi. Where you doing anything specific when your device froze (like browsing, gaming, etc)? Any applications running in the background? If so, which ones? If possible can you also send us a screenshot of the error? ^DT

I still refuse the update. It's a pain in the @ss, but I don't want any problems. I wish it would stop asking me though...

Since the lollipop updates I have trouble getting my screen to come on. If I knock it works maybe 1 percent of the time and if I use the power button the screen comes up then immediately blacks out. Can this be fixed? We have 4 lg g2 phones and they all do the same thing.
