LG G2 Malfunctions

3 months ago i downloaded a bunch of music apps back to back in search of a certain song. After that my phone started acting up. There is a certain part of my touch screen that will not work at all. If im trying to click something in that area, i have to turn my phone in the landscape position for it to work. Yesterday i was texting and the phone just automatically started shifting by itself from side to side, going up and down, switching between different text messages w/ different people. I couldnt text without the phone inserting words/sentences i didnt even type and also sending stuff before i hit the send button myself. So i went to search the internet for a reason why this was happening and i couldnt even type in the url without it closing it out before i finished typing what i was searching for. Or it would search for things after i typed in 1 or 2 words. Then the screens shifted speractically throughout all 6 of my screens and opened and closed apps by itself. I turned my phone off and back on and that still didnt work. It still acts crazy now like it has a mind of its own. I have an lg g2 model d801 tmobile. Its android software 5.0.2, kernel 3.4.0, build# LRX22G. Im not w/ tmobile anymore though, i am now w/ straight talk. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks in advance!!

Have you tried resetting the phone entirely? Knowing that the phone is from 2013. A resetting will be beneficial. Also you should check to see if there is a custom ROM in xda that will optimize your experience with the phone.

Thanks for replying so soon. The reson im so late replyin is because i closed out the thread and everything i couldnt find it again. Im new to this website so im still learning. Back to the problem, i did do a factory reset and the problem was not resolved. The same behavior was occurring even after the reset. I also looked on xda forums to see if i could find a resolution as well. As it turns out its a common issue with all lg g2 phones. Its caused by heavy usage of the phone. If you dont use your lg g2 as much you wont see the issue occur. My boyfriend has the same exact phone as me and he hasnt had any issues yet. He doesnt use it that much though. I dont use my phone that much either but after i repeatedly downloaded/deleted all those music apps back to back thats when the issues started surfacing. I had too have downloaded 5+ music apps back to back. Rooting your phone will not resolve the issue. It will just eventually resurface over time. I read that people returned there phones and got a new lg g2 and the problem still surfaced.

The RAM is not the issue either. That was watched and examined on xda as well. An just a fyi i do not text in short or leave letters out of words that also another example my phone messing up.
