LG G2x Battery Overheating

Hi all anyone here having a problem with your battery overheating? Mine over heats if I use any apps for longer than 10-15 minutes at a time. My phone is almost one year old.

It has happened with other Roms. With the original 2.3, ICS and Jelly B.
No problems with cm7.2

I've got 2.3.4 Ginger bread
Maybe I'll just take the phone back to T-Mobile and let them figure out why it over heats.
