Hey guys, new to the forum. I became the proud owner of a G3 about a week or so ago and there is just one gripe I have with it..why is it not recognizing my bluetooth headphones? Pretty sure I'm doing everything correctly that I did with the last phone I had (Alcatel One Touch Evolve). Am I the only one with this issue?
Pardon me if a similar thread has already been posted, couldn't find the search function on the mobile version of this site (either that or it's right in front of my face) , anyway, if a similar thread has been posted, just post the link or whatever and I'll go from there. My G3 is the Korean version.
If it helps, I'm on T Mobile. My headphones are the Philips SHB5500 model.

Thanks.

Do you have any other Bluetooth devices you can try to connect to? Simple process of deduction basically to test if it's the phone p or your headset causing the problem. Or you can try to connect your headset to a different phone and see if that works.

Well I still have the Alcatel that I lost (then found broken).
My headset would connect to that with no problem.

Do you have any other bt devices that you can connect to your phone? It seems like it's this phone causing the issue but you have to try it with a different headset first.

I could try and connect the headset to my parents phones and see what happens.
By the way, the headset is pretty new .

I have heard something about having another phone that was previously connect to the headset can cause issues if it's nearby. Is that true?

It can, but by putting your headset into pairing mode, it should still connect to your phone. You have to borrow a different headset to try to connect to your phone and check if it works. Else you can do a factory reset on your headset to try to connect to your phone again.

Well, you're probably going to laugh. But I wasn't pairing both devices correctly (it had been a minute since I last did it)haha.
I felt so stupid afterwards lol. But hey mistakes happen.

Thanks alot for the help though bro.
