Tried a few others but I always seem to come back to an Otterbox.
I have a Bugdroid case and an Unicorn Beetle Supcase. Both are rather useful in their own way.
The Bugdroid case is nice and thin and the Supcase offers good protection with a bit of bulk.
One was on the small side, the other rather big.
The Symmetry case is just right. :)

It is smaller than the Commuter design and is one piece. The device slips right in and you are ready to go.
Rubber interior with the classic Otterbox outer plastic covering.

Anyway, I do recommend the Symmetry case for all of your device protection needs. IMHO, of course.

P.S. No compensation from Otterbox has taken place for this testimonial. :)

not a fan of that Otterbox hard brittle plastic. i like TPU. Diztronic TPU.

The fit is nice and tight. No wiggle at all.
The Otterbox plastic, in my experience with more than a few past units, has never been found to be brittle or lacking integrity in any way.

Ya that's the case that I have on my G3, plus I have a tempered glass screen protector.

Nice combination.

I have the denim blue. Looks great with the gunmetal silver phone. Especially with the grey matching the silver front and the blue matching the camera housing.

Always liked otterbox. So far this works good, but haven't had any drops to prove it.

Since Otterbox switched to tpu instead of the cheap rubber it used to use they are much better and last a lot longer. Plus buying them from the sprint store gives me a hassle free warranty. Just take it to the store and walk out with a new one, no questions asked.

I had not noticed the switch. I could not put my finger on what had changed.
Now I can. Literally. ;)
Anyone else rockin an Otterbox?

I got the otterbox defender on my G3 and it works as intended there isn't that much bulk to the phone

Does the back of said case feel 'slippery'? That used to be one reason I'd use the Defender over the Commuter...

It is just like the Commuter case back. Hard plastic, tiny bit slippery but the sides have rubber to help keep your grip when holding.

I bought a symmetry from Amazon and decided to return it even though I really liked it. It adds minimal bulk but just a bit too much for me on an already large phone. I just got a supcase unicorn beetle hybrid bumper case and love it! The back is hard slippery plastic like the otterbox and the edges are soft touch tpu. Adds minimal bulk and feels good in the hand. Tried several cases and this one it's the winner, combined with a glass protector, feels snug and looks good.

I am using the symmetry and like it... Only drawback is my mobile pioneer charging cradle (pictured) which includes an insert that can be removed to accommodate many cases... Isn't quite large enough with the symmetry. Does anyone know of a charging stand that will work?

I'm totally stealing your case pairing idea. O:-)

I'm on the hunt for a few cases for my G3 as well. For TPU cases I usually just grab something off eBay, and they seem to work well enough - although a few have been a bit more slippery then I'd like.

I had a Casemate (I think it was the Tough line) for my old Galaxy Nexus (similar to Otterbox Commuter), which while bulky was great protection and pretty grippy due to the nature and texture of the plastic. I found the plastic to be a bit softer then the Otterbox Commuter. Both the softer plastic and the more aggressive texture made handling the device really great.

I also had a Otterbox Commuter for my S4, It was slightly less bulky then the Casemate, but I found the plastic hard and the texture still pretty slippery. So for me a happy balance would be the thinner inner layer of the Otterbox and the outer plastic of the Casemate.

I don't often need a bulky case, but it's nice to have. Most times a TPU case is enough - and even then it's mostly for grip. Almost perpetually sweaty hands means some sort of extra grip a necessity

Mav,
Thanks for your review of this case. Just wondering, are you using a glass screen protector with this case? I have one but have not installed it yet.
