Hello,

I was watching this video on the G3 vs. the iphone 5S. At around 12:12 he clicks on an option to edit a photo he had just taken. My G3 does not have this option. Is he using a different gallery than the stock one? Has anyone been able to edit a photo?

Thanks

In the gallery, bring up the picture. Press the pencil icon, then turn your phone to landscape view to see all the editing options.

I like you no doubt had a look within the settings and I couldn't find anything.

My only input is like snapseed ect you can select from the gallery from within the app itself and in my experience most offer this (if not all).

Another thing is to download another gallery scene is pretty good and organised.

At a loss with that one, perhaps one of the other members will have a better idea.

Do you know if that Google app is included on the G3? I only see the LG one. Thanks

Re: Editing phots - Help

Yeah It came on mines. Which version of the G3 you have? US version? Which carrier

Re: Editing phots - Help

I have a US version, Verizon Wireless, 32gig.

I have the same phone.... I can edit my photos. Are you trying to edit a photo stored locally on your phone or a photo stored in the cloud? G+, Facebook etc etc etc???

Finally figured it out. It looks like Google+ needs to be enabled. Why? I do not know. Decided to download a different editing app. I don't want, or use any features of Google+. Thanks for everyone's input!

Oh okay glad you figured it out, strange it has to be enabled. Mines was in the Google folder

Dang its like Google is really wanting to control the G3. First i read someone saying location keeps coming on in their notification bar. Plus the Location settings giving you 3 options to be tracked is crazy! Now we cant disable apps we dont use cause it conflicts with trying to use some other app. Thats lame! Yes to some its not a biggie but it suppose to be OUR phones an yet we still dont have full control. On a sidenote i do love the G3.

What about editing/trimming videos? I can edit pics, but can't find an option to edit or trim video that I recorded.

Thanks
