Re: flashlight lost

Hello which carrier and or region/country of LG G3 are we talking about here? I know in the US, at least with Sprint I never had a flashlight app on the device from factory. I wish it did though :(

Could it be that once your device (if it did) receive Lollipop that this feature was removed?

Some people got the flashlight back after they opened the camera app. If that doesn't work, you'll need a flashlight app from the Play Store. With Power Toggles you can have a flashlight toggle in your notification bar and in your lockscreen. Even with lollipop.

Just use Google now to turn it on and off. Just say "OK Google flashlight on/ off". Works a treat for me. Don't need to install a separate app

@grunt: Didn't the Google Now solution mentioned a couple posts up work for you? It's my understanding that's a new Lollipop feature, no flashlight app needed.

Google Now does work, however, i found "quick torch" widget in the Play Store. Just download it, and it goes into the QSlide circle of the drop down notifications. Makes it easy to get to, and much neater. HaHa, you may not be able to say...OK Google, turn on flashlight, if you're drunk and looking for your house keys.:p

Not sure if this is availble in the UK, but try this app:
A great find from someone here in the forums that allows you to replace the default Shortcut option (up volume) from your lockscreen and toggle on/off your flashlight.

Great find indeed. Works like a treat! Thank you.

My OK Google takes me to chrome to look for apps now and it used to turn on my flashlight. How do I get it to do that again?
