I had my G3 for a little over a year before it started to act up. Shortly after the year mark, the battery life was crap and would drain very quickly, so I bought a new battery online (LG Brand) and it worked great for a while. Out of no where the battery would die after an hour of being unplugged, and I wasn't even using it. The phone said that the screen was taking all the battery even when it wasn't in use. The phone then started to restart constantly on it's own, sometimes 6 times in a row, also draining the battery in the start up process. Finally, the phone will not connect to WiFi. I have factory reset the phone multiple times and tried to update it when the new update came out a month or so ago, nothing works. Help?

Welcome to Android Central!

Did you buy this device on a contract term? I would go to your carrier (if you have a contract term) and see if you can get another G3. If a new battery is not helping the situation, it sounds like your software may be to blame - or that the phone is, unfortunately, on its way out. LG's online customer support is also very good - I've emailed them and they've responded promptly.

Please keep us updated on your situation. I'm sorry that this is happening to you - a phone with issues is saddening and also frustrating.

same problems as all others above me- the phone keep restating, wifi issues, bluetooth as well.
i bought a new battery few months ago, so its not the battery fault.
i upgrade into marshmallow, the problem remain the same.
i downgrade it to lolipop, the problem remain the same.
i did this trick , but still the wifi issues and all the rest still occurring.
i am a bit lost here.

i bought the phone on 2014, from abroad, so i think warranty wise I'm not covered.
the phone sometime can connect to wifi, but even when it does its not lasting too long, and then it can't: the wifi screen says it's "Turning Wi-Fi on..." but without any results.
any ideas?

Got my G3 in July 2016 and the phone's been fine for me for almost two years, until the other day when I started seeing the same issues as the OP. Did several factory resets, and now I'm running the phone as bare-bones as I can in the hope it was an app causing the problems. Doesn't seem to make much of a difference, though. Boot looping, no wifi or bluetooth, random restarts, etc.

This is really frustrating since I take good care of my phones. I'm headed to Project Fi anyway as my Verizon contract is up very soon. I was hoping to hold out until the new 2016 Nexus was announced, but these problems are pushing me that way earlier that I would have liked. Nexus 6P, here I come!
