lg g3 no system update....

i recently bought a ls990 & it has no system update menu anywhere & i cannot activate the phone without being able to update profile, tried using lg bridge but every time i plug my phone into my pc i get "device driver was not installed successfully"...i am about ready to pull my hair out please help...thank u in advance

Welcome to Android Central! Did you buy the phone new or refurbished from a retailer, or used from a private seller? If the latter, that person might have rooted the phone and installed a custom ROM (which usually doesn't have a System Update option).
