LG G3 screen sensitivity

I recently picked up my LG G3 (Verizon) and put one of those glass screen protectors from Verizon on it. Sometimes when I double tap the screen to wake it doesn't register. Is anyone else having this issue or is it due to the screen protector?

It's likely due to the screen protector. If it's too thick, that might be interfering with the feature. Did it work before you set up the screen protector?

The Verizon people put it on in store so I'm not sure how the screen is without one to be honest

Had the same problem with the glass screen protector AT&T applied to my phone. Took it off and got a Zagg glass screen protector and no touch screen issues. (There are several good glass screen protector brands, Zagg just happens to be the brand I was familiar with.)

My G3 doesn't always respond to the double tap when turning off and sometimes needs several attempts. Doesn't worry me. No screen protector.
