LG G4 - Boot loop?

So yesterday I was using Twitter on my LG G4 when everything froze, and the phone subsequently switched itself off. Since then I've managed to restart the phone on a handful of occasions - resulting in about a minutes worth of sluggish use before the phone again switches itself back off.

What usually happens, however, is that the reboot sticks at the LG screen for about 25 seconds, then turns itself off - or reboots and does the same again. Sometimes it makes it to the 'Vodaphone' screen before doing similar. Sometimes it just sits on the LG screen without budging. Sometimes it doesn't respond at all. Usually, in all scenarios, I have to take the battery out and put it back in again before I can have another go.

Can I take it as read that this is the infamous LG G4 boot loop? If so, is there anything to be done to fix it - other than take the phone back to the shop? It's 23 months old, still within the 2 year warranty.

Advice appreciated.

It is a bootloop. Definitely contact LG before the warranty is up. They repaired mine about 14 months ago and it is still going strong. It really isnt user fixable.

My G4 went into the boot loop and it was out of warranty. My UK insurance company came to the rescue with a replacement from Carphone Warehouse. All done within 48 hours.
