LG G4 issue with Infiniti jx35

Just made the jump to Android from BB Z10. All was well until i tried using my hands free in my JX 35. Phone will sync via bluetooth and i can answer incoming calls. However, there seems to be an issue when trying to make outgoing calls. I cannot simply use the "call-persons name" anymore. It will return a name that isnt even remotely close to what i asked for. infiniti canada support site does not list the LG G4 as a supported phone for bluetooth in the JX35, yet the Infiniti US site does. Has anybody had similar issues that can pass along some tips? Phone is running android 6.0 i believe

What year is your JX35?

I have a 2009 G37x Coupe with the Bose Sound system and the hands free bluetooth. Should be very similar to the system in my car.

I have fund that after changing phones or doing a hard reset on my current G4, I have to set up my contacts again in my car. Since you are using the handsfree feature of the CAR, it pulls from the list of contacts that you have uploaded and from the ones you have manually listed.

Once I reuploaded my contacts, things have improved.

Thanks David. Model year is a 2013, no navigation. I have deleted all phones from the system, which also deletes their phone books. Still not working.
