LG G4 priced higher than S6?

Not good if true, especially with the snap808 Report: LG G4 to be priced higher than Samsung Galaxy S6, lower than Galaxy S6 edge

Take that "report" with a grain of salt.

"We should learn more about pricing in other markets, including the U.S., when the LG G4 becomes official next Tuesday."

I feel itll have be at the $199 mark (2yr agreement) for it to be a competitor. At 299 you're in the note 4 price. I received an email last night from verizon with a $50 off promo wanting me to upgrade. I may have to check out the G4 if its priced competitively.

Very few people are going to buy the G4 if LG is
really stupid enough to price it at $299.

To be perfectly honest, even at $199, it will still
have a hard time competing with iPhone 6 and S6.
(except people like me who MUST have SD card
slot and removable battery)

Doesn't matter it will be $199 on contract on the useless carriers with ugly Verizon logo and bloat. People here have no clue and don't care what the actual cost of the phone is. If their carrier sells them a brick they will buy that as well

In my city, AT&T still has 3G service and T-Mobile is still on 2G. Sprint is a joke because most of the time their data connection is only slightly faster than a 56k modem.

While my Verizon 4G gets 35mbps to 40mbps consistently(on my unlimited data plan) Do I like Verizon? Well, no.... I hate them... but I don't think I have a choice.

$750 for plastic and $800 for leather.

If that's the price, I'm out. The chipset, and features don't point towards a phone that is ~100 dollars better than the Samsung Galaxy S6. And at 300 dollars more than the G3 is right now? Not sure a 50% premium is worth the upgrade to a problematic chipset.

Currently living in Seoul. Pre order was 800,000 won or 748 U.S. Dollars.
