They say to go to settings and then About Phone and then Update Center and the App Update. I do that and it says there's no apps to install despite an update being released to resolve the touch screen issues many are having.

I'm with AT&T. Anyone else having this problem? I'd like to install this update.

No update available here either. I've read that it only addresses touch issues within the LG keyboard which I don't use. I still experience lag and missed touches outside of it though and it seems to be getting worse.

I'm on ATT too.

Yes, it was a keyboard only update. What version of the keyboard are you on? I'm on Sprint and have version 6.0.27. I think I remember my keyboard updating the other day.

Dunno the version. Would think it would be under the language and keyboard settings. Can't find it there.

Strange. When I go to that same screen it just says, "All apps are installed." There's no other app info on the screen. I'm thinking ATT castrated it.

T-Mobile released the update as soon as it was announced. It made my keyboard 100x better!

Got an update from Sprint. I find it weird how fragmented the update menu is for this phone ( or maybe android in general). I didn't really notice issues before, so I'll see how this works.

My ATT phone shows no update available as well. I wonder if this update will help with the somewhat horrific predictive text issues

I dunno, but I definitely have touchscreen issues with the keyboard on this phone. I want the update and ATT is holding out the goods! A bit frustrating I must say! I hate how carriers change so much on these phones.

I was under the impression that LG app updates came from LG and were not tied to the carrier.

That may be true, but I do not have the option to update apps manually. My screen is different than the one posted above. It seems to be the case for other ATT users as well.

So, you're saying LG hasn't pushed the update to all phones yet? That seems odd because their own tweets told how to get the update by going to the update center and then selecting App Updates.

I honestly don't know if they have pushed completely or not. My keyboard updated several days ago maybe even the same day they said the update was coming.
