LG G4 - some apps have really slow mobile data connection

Hi,
Some apps on my dual-SIM G4 appear to have really slow data connection when using mobile data. This includes Play Store, Facebook and others. Some other apps such as Skype, Chrome or Youtube on the other hand run normally. Download speed is satisfying. Even in Play Store, when it finally connects at 3rd or 4th try, I can see the apps downloading quite quickly.
I tried cleaning the cache, force stopping the apps, but the issue still persists.
Any suggestions, what could be the cause and how to get rid of this annoying behavior?

Depends which SIM card those are running off of

When both SIM cards in your phone are 3G or 4G SIM cards, only one of them has access to 3G or 4G networks and the other one has access to 2G networks. In addition, the phone can use only one SIM card to access the Internet.

You can go to Settings > All > Wireless & networks > Dual card management and switch 4G/3G slot and mobile data.

Try that.
