LG G4 - Will not power on when battery inserted

LG G4 Model LS991

With the Phone plugged in to a power source

When the battery is removed I see the indicator of a battery outline in white with a blinking red question mark; remainder of the screen is lit and displaying black background color

With the battery inserted the computer completely blanks and the screen light turns off.

When the phone is not connected to a cable then it does not matter if the battery is inserted or not the screen does not power on.

The phone is unresponsive to a USB Cable plugged into the computer; I.e. I can't access it via computer

The phone is unresponsive to pressing any buttons; including holding the power button in for 2 minutes with the phone powered or unpowered

any thoughts about how to get the phone working so I can retreive content off the phone and back it up?

Since you have a Sprint version, it sounds like maybe the motherboard completely failed. A Sprint tech may be able to retrieve data off the device.

Welcome to Android Central! Have you also tried a new or different battery, in case that battery is defective?
