LG G5 hands free problem

My LG G2 allowed me to make calls plugged into the audio jack in My Kia Van I am unable to do the same with My G5 I can hear the other person but they can't hear me does anybody else have this issue or know how to fix it.

i'm having the same problem. it seems like it is acting as if i'm using ear buds that have a microphone attached to it, only there is no mic and it doesn't know the difference.
