LG G5 (RS988) Cases and Screen Protectors - Please Help!

I just bought a G5 (RS988). It's a cool phone, but the case (Obliq Skyline Advanced) isn't working out. The volume buttons on the case don't line up properly with the ones on the phone, causing the volume down to turn the volume up. I bought this case because of it's advanced anti-drop claims while still being normal sized.. not bulky like those otter boxes. Any suggestions?

I still haven't bought a screen protector. I've been reading that most of the tempered glass protectors don't fit well because of the curved screen. Has anyone found a protector that fits well and isn't too thick?

i have the obliq skyline and Is perfect to me...i suggest the poetic affinity case. for screen protector i dont use it ...ni une fit properly.

Have you found a tempered glass screen protector that fits the G5? Apparently the curve at the top and unevenness at the bottom have caused all kinds of issues. I'm currently on page 26 of 37 of a screen protection thread over at xda forum, hoping to find a protector that works, but not luck as of yet. I think page 26 is from last spring, so there's still some hope. If not, I'll just grab the film protectors.

Someone over on Reddit recommended the Casebase tempered tempered glass. Said it both conforms to the curve on top and bottom corners.

I also read somewhere the the G-Color works too, but Amazon is the only place I can find that sells it, they're out of stock.

GPel is also said to work well.

They all cost, at minimum, $20.. not sure I want to risk that kind of money on a product that isn't a sure thing. These recommendations come only come from a single person.. I'd feel more confident in the purchase if there was more positive feedback out there,

I have found no full screen protector fits well due to the cruved top. Some that do not cover the curve are fine.
I have been using the Urban armor Gear case. On mine and other past phones they work well

I couldn't get ballistic glass to work at all. I went with the ArmySuit MilitarySheild. It's vinyl and took some getting used to (the feel is different). But it works great and ended my frustration quickly. I've had it 4months and have had no issues.
