Honestly, the always on screen basically negates the need for a notification light. I'm currently using the v10, and I really thought I would hate not having one. Now it doesn't bother me at all because I'm so used to checking the always on display instead

I love notification led on my blackberry priv. I customize colours so red is for messages, blue is for a friend calling etc. Etc. We had it for years and it is awesome

Would have been a real downer if it didn't have one. Always on isn't my cup of tea , LED can be customized and does all the stuff an always on screen can
