I bought mine immediately after it was released for $700. Luckily I'm jump on demand on tmobile. So it doesn't bother me for long since monthly payments are around $30. You can still register for 2nd year of warranty. That is available to all.

Wow. That is awesome too. I think this deal is only for phones from tmobile. Wouldn't be applicable here.

I've already registered for the second year of the warranty, thanks. I'm annoyed, though, because circumstances dictated that I didn't have any money when I could get two S8s from T-Mobile for the price of one (was buying two phones on family account). So when payday arrived I went ahead and bought two LG phones... Then literal days later there was a sale, 2 for 1 G6 or S8, which I couldn't do because I already paid for 2 phones. Then out comes this freebie, but again available dates are away from my date of purchase. We were using 3 year old phones and desperate for new ones. But I picked the absolute WRONG date to buy.

Weren't you within the Return/Exchange period for the two phones you just bought.

As a thumb rule...now a days either buy when it is launched or wait for 1-2 months. Right at the time of launch they have freebies. Or after 2 months they drop prices and give these bogo or other lucrative deals. You really should have waited until you saw any deal. But this is life.
