Wow! Duly Impressed!!!

Day 2 of Testing: Off charger at 5am, battery down to 3% at 10:20pm. SOT 8h30m.

Details: No AOD, no battery saver, no quick charge ups. Screen at 40%. Location on High Accuracy. Beam off. Gestures off. Cloud print off. 'Ok Google' voice activation on. Play Store auto update Off. I use dark theme with black wallpaper and lock theme. VoLTE is off. Wifi calling off. Low Power Estimation Off. Display dims at 2 minutes. Wifi on when plugged in or screen on... off when screen is off and unplugged.

QuickMemo+ was uninstalled on date of purchase as it's a major battery hog Greenify app used. Wifi-BT on. Location Wifi-BT scanning turned off.

Pics provide the data. 2 days solid battery stats.

Try it again with a light theme and a white wallpaper.

Dark themes only help to save battery with OLED displays, apparently with LCD the brighter the theme/wallpaper the better the battery savings

Wow, that's seriously impressive! I've yet to push this phone to its limits, but evidently it'll have no problems if I do!

I actually prefer the darker themes. Easier on the eyes.

Wow that's great. The most I've been able to squeeze is 4.5 hours of SoT with AoD off and good portion of the day on wifi. I've found AoD to affect standby time too much for me.

I always have mine on.. Wifi affects my stand by.. I'm never on it as a result.

Huh, isn't that interesting... my phones - Android, iOS, whatever - have always lasted longer in standby while connected to WiFi.

I've been experiencing this ever since I've been on T-Mobile and have opened several topics about this.. My service is so much better than my work wifi for standby time (which is the best we can get in San Diego). I lose 2 to 3% over night at home on wifi.. without I lost 1% at most. I don't know what it is. haha.


Either way, I had a pretty insane phone day today.. My battery is at 27% by 3:41 pm. But thats on 10 hours of battery and 4h45m of screen time.

I wonder if LTE data goes into a deep sleep which helps overnight drain by essentially turning data off unless there's a push notification or scheduled data pull like email.

My WiFi is set to stay awake when the screens off and I lose about the same as you overnight if it's not on the charger.

This almost makes me want two of these, configured identically, and left to sit all weekend with one on WiFi and one on mobile!

T-Mobile devices can uninstall all the LG bloat. Not sure about Att or Sprint but Verizon doesn't allow it.

I'm not getting anywhere near the reported 5-6+ hours of SOT with my Sprint G6... I've been averaging closer to 3 hours. I can't seem to figure out what's wrong either.

Are you running wifi calling on yours? Wondering if that is hurting your battery life on wifi.
