Lg G6 T mobile updates

Question:
I went to make a call (who does that these days, right?) and there was a pop-up notice about video calling that, I assume, became active with the latest update. I accidentally dismissed it before I read the whole thing and I was wondering what the notice actually said. Did anyone get a screenshot of it or is there something published about it? I can't find any info on it in my phone.

If I remember correctly, it just said that the video dialer had changed. There's a video call button (in the picture), and I've noticed a video call button when I'm in a call with someone I can video call too. Not sure which one of these is new, but I don't remember the in-call video button looking the way it does now.

I received new update today,nothing yet on tmobile website ,only google security patches.Software version is h87211g now.Around 300mb .Hopefully next one is oreo

I just checked and it began downloading..."Update size: 339.0 MB"

Interesting. There isn't an LG listed on that list, including the V20/V30.

It could just indicate that they haven't heard anything from LG, or it could mean that they're not going to be updated. I suspect the latter.

That doesn't make sense, however, for the V30, which is still a pretty new phone. And the Samsung models released alongside those LGs ARE scheduled for update.

Yeah...maybe I have a Galaxy S10 in my future.

that page is terrible for seeing what is in development/testing/finished. it always seems very far behind.

not to beat a dead horse, but given the recent story about the s6 line on the front page, the 8.0 support page doesnt show either of those phones as getting 8.0 thats why i basically ignore that page.

tmo is finally working on the oreo update. its showing on the tmo site as in development.
