Android Central Question

Anyone with the same problem? I keep touching the hold button with my cheek during phone calls and the call is put on hold without me noticing, it's really annoying. I have tried to hold the phone at various angles with my head, but it keeps happening.
Is there any way to change the layout of the screen that we have during phone calls?

During calls the proximity sensor should be turning off the screen to prevent exactly this sort of thing. Does the proximity sensor in general work for you? Check by covering the top part of the display while the AOD is displayed - it should go blank. You can also get the app "CPU-Z" and go to the sensors tab. Look for the Proximity entries (mine has "LGE Proximity" and "LGE Proximity - Non-Wakeup Secondary" that both display values of 5.0cm when there is nothing near the sensor and 0.0cm when something is.

If your sensor is not working you can try a factory reset and if that doesn't work, warranty repair is the next step.

1. Tap phone_app_icon.pngphone, tap theoptions_icon.pngin corner and go to call settings. 2. Tap on more and go to proximity sensor and turn on. Hope it works for you.
