LG GPad III 8.0 - possible to use (wired) ethernet to USB 2.0 adaptor for internet access?

I would like to get internet access on my LG GPad III 8inch tablet by using an ethernet cable. Obviously there is no RJ45 jack on this tablet, but I have seen the RJ45 to USB adaptors.

Can one of these adaptors be used with my tablet? I'd run an ethernet cable from my router to my tablet.
