Right now in South Korea. They might be doing this in the US to help promote it, looking for people with social media influence. Would you become a participant? I'm going to keep my eyes peeled for it.

I think us here on the forums would make great participants. We are much more knowledgeable with tech and can give unbiased reviews (I hope at least).

Definitely true for the most part. I would tell LG the truth about the good things and the things that need work.

They want you to promote to your social network followers.
If you don't have at least 10k followers you have no shot at being invited to participate.

The same way they allowed other people to promote past flagships: social media. For me particularly, Instagram. LG is actually great at social media hype. And the people they select really show off the camera.

I guess the only other way is to use some clever hashtags since I don't have thousands of followers. I suppose I could reactivate my Facebook account if I was selected and promote it there too.

Hate to tell you this but you are not their target for this. They already assume you are committed to the V series. They want Samsung and Apple people to give testimonials. Samsung did the same thing with the S6 tests. They wanted people who had never bought a Samsung phone.
