Lg k10 limitations

I used to have an LGG5 that connected to my lg car stereo via bluetooth, the stereo gave me the option of scrolling through the music library and picking an album. I broke my G5 and replaced it with a K10 as i like LG phones.. Its a good phone incidentally, but i have lost the ability to scroll through the library.
Both times I used the stock music player on the phone and had no other music software installed.

Its probably a limitation set by LG to make the flagship phone more appealing, but i find it unnecessary quite frankly..
Anybody know a work around?

Not unless you rewrite the K10's ROM.

Really? That sucks, i haven't even rooted either phone.the last one i did was the g3.
And then i didn't do anything with it except block ads.
I getting to old for this ****!
