Screen is out. USB power is out. Battery power is available only through jamming in my old LG Leon battery the right way - which has been repeatable three out of twenty times. When done so and it's on, USB file access is possible through My Computer, and I've manually grabbed everything that shows up. However, that accounts for only 399mb (most of that being pictures and video; most of the folders and subfolders are empty as well), and it says 3gb of space is taken up (note images attached). What could be missing, do I need to get at it to make my new phone just like my old one, and if so how?

Most of what you see is system folders that will be recreated with activation of a replacement. So as long as you offloaded files you created, you should be ok. I.e. Photos, music, videos, documents, etc. There's also a lot of system files and folders you can't see unless rooted. Unless you rooted and made changes, those will all be the same in the replacement phone as well.

If you have any apps that saved data, such as game saves, then make sure those are all synced to the cloud or backed up with their in app function where possible.

Yeah, not rooted. It seems I got all my contacts and that stuff, though at least some of that is clouded (not sure about some things because I don't really want my stuff up and about - I'm pretty nerve-y about security). The media stuff I don't care about, as the important(-ish...) stuff is on the SD. I'm most concerned about not having to download the apps and re-configure them on the new phone.

No matter what, you'll have to set up your apps again. If you were rooted or had a functioning USB port, you could use an app to backup all of your apps. Even then, those backups are made into apk files that then have to be reinstalled on the new phone. So all it could save you is maybe a little time and some bandwidth.

Yeah, I guess so. I think I've done all I can. I found LG Bridge, and it won't recognize the phone. I bet the folks at the store use the same thing. It shows up in My Computer because the device is seen as 'portable media player'. So something is really bad off.
