Just got word of a supposed LG Lucid to be announced in Q1 this year on Verizon.

Rumored specs:

  • 4-inch NOVA display (not IPS, like the Spectrum)
  • 5MP camera with 1080p video
  • 16GB of storage
  • 1GB RAM
  • 1.2GHz dual-core processor
  • Android 2.3 (Boooooooo)
  • 4G LTE

That's it for now.

The real kicker is when/if Google sticks to it's one update a year cycle. By the time it's released and eventually gets its upgrade to ICS, then Android 5.0 "Jellybean" will be released. :(

4 inch screen
Dual-core processor
Android 2.3 that will never be upgraded

That's it.

Verizon is failing hardcore.

Not every phone is going to have top of the line specs. This will probably come in under $100 on contract and for those who want decent specs without being over 4 inch screen.

its decent for the price for sure 79 bucks and nice display and camera pretty snappy too so far got one for the wife last night i tried talking her into the d4 or max but was a no go she likes the smaller screen size on this

I'll have to check this out

ill try to remember to post back in a few days on how she likes it just got it last night...

pretty cool phone so far the ui is pretty cool but very different than my gn running ics of course but the UI has some cool features one thing i dont like as far as i can tell it doesnt have a notification led.. and couldnt get a missed call app to work so if you miss a call or txt there is nothing to let you know with just a quick look not that i can find so far but didnt mess with it that much just for a few min last night this phone needs its own thread though for info and help...
