LG Mobile USA - Worst customer service ever!

I sent in a Nexus 5 for warranty repair. I am a USA grad student living in Guatemala. I needed to find someone traveling back to the USA to ship in the phone. In the process I updated my return address ( a freight forwarder in Miami who would bring it to Guatemala). with LG via online customer service chat (I was emailed a transcript) showing I gave them correct and complete address.

LG finished repairs and shipped the phone. FEDEX shows it was delivered and signed for. The freight forwarder at the delivery address has no records of it being received and has no one on staff with the name of the person signing for package per FEDEX. I find out that LG provided FEDEX with an incomplete/incorrect shipping address.

I call LG and their customer service supervisor "Josh" tells me that yes, we sent it to the wrong address but we can't do anything about your now lost phone.....our policy is to file a claim with FEDEX.....I confirmed with him....."you send it to the wrong place and now I have to wait."...his response...."yes"

What terrible customer service! They screw up, admit it and then make the customer wait!
 
That's unfortunate. Hopefully you get your phone soon and it's in good working order.
