I`ve been to a lot of sites looking for information on this device, most importantly the modem.... some sites say 14.4 and others say 42 Mbps... can you guys tell me which one is it/?

It's 42 Mbps. I'm not sure why there's so much confusion, but it is 42 Mbps.
