So the announcement today by Qualcomm was that Snapdragon 820 won't be ready until early 2016. This rules it out of being the processor of the upcoming Nexus, leaving Snapdragon 620 as the most likely chip to be used by Google.
Qualcomm stated that the Snapdragon 620 will include the Adreno 510 GPU. This is apparently 40% faster than the Adreno 405 included within the Snapdragon 615 according to Qualcomm. So 40% more powerful than Adreno 405 is roughly in the ballpark of the higher-clocked variety of the Adreno 330 included within the Snapdragon 801.
"As for the Adreno 510 that will ship with the Snapdragon 618 and 620, the company isn’t giving detailed or specific performance claims. It told us that these chips should generally also be 40 percent faster and 40 percent more power efficient than their predecessors, the Adreno 405 used in the Snapdragon 610 and 615."
