Tried it with superoneclick, oneclickroot, cyanogenproject, and a bunch of others a person like me can never understand. Is there someone kind enough to explain the entire process to me?

I'm pretty sure your either running 10g or 20d here's the link to root 10g http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2173465
To root 20d you need to downgrade to 10g, root, backup root with OTA Rootkeeper and go back to jellybean..

hello guys i'm new to android the L9 is my first actually, i've been reading a lot about rooting, so i think it's about time to do it, i had the phone fot month to wait and see if it had any factory defects since is gonna void waranty when root, but now you paint a new picture for me , what is 10g and 20d and how do i know which i have?
