LG Optimus Q phone -easy battery saver issue

Help! The touchscreen on my phone stopped working. For a while my phone would dial numbers in my call log on its own. I think it was the easy battery saver app I dowloaded to save battery. I fianlly got frustrated and called straight talk customer service for a factory reset. My touchscreen didn't even work anymore. We attempted a factory reset and now all I can get is an emergency dialer, but still can't get the touchscreen to work. Anything I can do to fix this?: Straight talk will send me a new phone when I send my phone back, but that leaves me without a phone for until we get this phone thing sorted out.
Can anyone help with suggesstions to fix this problem, other than get a different phone service?

If the touchscreen isn't working after a factory reset, it's probably some hardware related issue, or some corrupt data, and, there is most likely nothing you can do. AIif you can get a new phone, I wouldn't waste time on it.
