Hello!

I have a LG optimus net, just recently after booting the phone up, it would freeze. I have tried doing resets, reset with home button, volume down and power button and from inside the phone. I have also tried recovery mode from the LG tools thing and that helped until I rebooted the device and was back in the same place. I am out of ideas on how to fix this. I am out of warranty from just a month ago (August 11). Please help!

Welcome to Android Central! Sounds like you've done a lot already. From the Recovery Mode, do you have an option to Wipe Cache Partition? If so, do that, then reboot. The cache partition has temporary system data that can sometimes mess things up.

Another thing to try is to boot into Safe Mode, if possible. Not sure if this will work, but try powering off, then pressing the home button and the power button at the same time, holding them down until you see a Safe Mode menu.

Thanks for the response! We found the culprit out to be the SD card, changing the SD card fixed the issue. Apparently the SD card caused the whole system to not work problem :/

Thanks for the followup, and I'm glad you figured it out! Whenever you insert an SD card, or whenever you turn on a phone with an SD card, an app called Media Scanner scans your storage for music, photos, and videos, to make sure the various apps that access them know where they are. It may be that your SD was corrupt, and Media Scanner was causing things to freeze.
