OK, the title just about says it all. :p

I'm hearing about the LG Speed, a dual-core 1080p-playback device. Supposedly uses the same screen panel as the iPhone 4, is 4 inches, has a 1GHz processor and Gingerbread. It weighs 105 grams.

Also hearing about an LG Honeycomb Tablet. Interesting thing here is that LG is said to have an "exclusive" on Honeycomb tablets in Europe for three months, and Motorola has it in the U.S. Not sure I'm buying that. Once the code is out, the code is out.

More on this if I get any.

A 4inch tablet hmm little on the small side. Now if this were a phone I would love it. Shoot why can't they make a phone with that panel 480?800-854 is getting old

No, not a 4-inch tablet. A 4-inch phone AND a tablet.

Oh im sold on the phone fingers are crossed for it to come to the us VZW please but at this point I don't care just not tmo, no 3g. And when you say 4 inch phone I hope it uses the high dpi screen like the iphone but the screen is 4 inches my eyes are getting old

So the LG Speed uses the Retina display?

LG makes the "retina display" for Apple. I've been waiting for someone to use it at a 4-4.5" screen size for a while now along with a dual core Tegra2. Still waiting, sigh.

I presume its the LG B you're all talking about?

Looks nifty, but as always we'll see what it can do (specs) and what not in CES in Jan or sometime next year.

Then the proof will be in the pudding.

It's probably not going to happen being that Sprint is the home of HTC but I would hope a phone like this comes to Sprint. Maybe I'll jump ship to LG? I suspect that, being so Verizon heavy, it may launch there first. At the very least they will start on Verizon & create similar phones for alternate networks later.
