LG Sport Watch and AT&T NumberSync

[Android Central Question]

Hi There! I noticed that when I added my LG Sport Watch to my service plan and did the numbersync that it appears that when I receive a notification it goes to my watch (which is great), but marks the notification basically as read therefore I don't see the notification on the phone anymore. Is there anyway to have the best of both worlds and not have it do that unless I actually read the notification on my watch or my phone? It's aggravating to say the least.
