LG Stock Backup Not Working

Every time I try to back up with stock backup, stock rom, it fails at the end and the message reads "cannot backup." All different areas to backup read "unknown" after it is done. While it is being created they say "completed." I've tried clearing data, cache, rebooting, freeing space on the phone. Nothing seems to work. I've even tried not backing up my internal storage and just the phone settings. Every time...fails. Anyone experience this?

LG Backup Tool ... I'm on stock ROM, not rooted. It's always worked before.

I hate "bumping" posts, but I have had no response on this one... Do any of you out there have any ideas or experience with this issue? I'd appreciate some help.

What if you just try backing up one thing like LG Home? Does that fail?

Or try just backing up one app? My guess is that you have one thing that is failing and that is messing up the whole thing.

Thanks for your response. I actually tried what you said before I read this...I was able to get everything backed up, but had to do it all individually. Does anyone know how the restoration process works when things are backed up individually? I assume, just do it one at a time...

The weird thing is that the SD card / internal memory data would not back-up...no matter what I did. So I tried backing everything else up leaving out the SD and it still failed. So I'm not quite sure what the issue is. I guess it is not a *huge* deal, but having a feature that has been likely wanted by every Android user since the dawn of time, not work right, is a bummer.

Yep, one at a time. I had issues doing media as well, I just copied that on my own to Dropbox.
