LG stylo 5 text message spam box

I stopped getting text messages from a company I do business with. I emailed their customer service and they said this..

"Please kindly check if the SMS notification to your spam message or blocked by your phone tool"

I do not know what this means. English is not their first language. They seem to be saying that text message app has a spam junk folder like my email does. I did not know this. How do I check or edit this on my LG stylo 5?. I did not make any changes that I am aware of, but for some reason I stopped getting their auto text messages.

Check your blocked numbers list and see if their number is included. You might have to ask the company what number they use (although this might be challenging if they use a whole bank of numbers).
