LG Thrive Stuck on LG screen

I desperately need help here. My phone is stuck on the LG screen. I can't get it into fastboot mode, can't get it into emergency mode. I have no idea what to do anymore.

I beg someone to please help me here.

If I take the battery out and let it turn on via USB, all I get is a screen telling me to put the back cover on.

Actually, I jsut took the battery out and finally got into fastboot mode. It says "fastbootrocessing commands"

At this point I am scared to touch the thing. Everything I have done thus far in fastboot has not worked. Please provide me with some guidance.

Actually doesn't matter now. AT&T is going to be sending a replacement. Even the master reset they told me to do couldn't get the thing to go past the LG screen. Now lets just hope they don't say I did something to violate the warranty...
