lg Tone+ hbs730 not working on s5

So it pairs fine. Works for phone calls and media except if I pause my music, video, or podcast I can't get it to play again unless I pull the phone out and hit play on phone. It worked great on my s3. Been to Verizon and talked to Samsung rep at best buy. Kind of defeats the purpose of hands free. Anyone else have this problem? Were you able to fix it? Thinking about upgrading to the new lg tone pro but if I'm going to have the same problem what's the point. Thanks in advance.

I have the same headphones, and I have not experienced that problem. The only thing I could recommend is removing the pairing from the phone and re-pairing it.

Ok I just tried that it didn't work. It's weird. It works on my kids s4 ' s. Must be some sort of software glitch on my phone.

Ok now replaced with hbs750 and still have the same problem. Any thoughts?

I have the 730 and it works fine with my S5. Paired it and good to go - I didn't do anything with the settings.
