Lg v20 looks like a great phone..sure lot of people would love more battery but looks perfect for heavy users and has very good hardware...phones looks very durable compared to other phones . Here is a video

I am a bit concerned how the back popped off with every drop, regardless which side hit. Sure, it probably is absorbing some of the impact, but the battery flies out and the insides are exposed to possible damage as the phone bounces. Why that internal damage, except for battery scratches, didn't happen, I don't know.

Because it was dropped on a flat surface (as most drops likely are). Had it been tested on jagged rocks, then I'd expect to see some more damage under the cover.
