LG V30 connection timed out

First time here. Just got the V30 today after dropping my V20. I absolutely cannot get it to connect to my hospital's unsecured free WiFi. It is connected but will not bring up the accept and login page. I've been trying different troubleshooting methods for two hours and it just will not show the page. Not with Firefox, not with Chrome. All I get is a "connection timed out" message. The Wi-Fi works perfectly because I'm writing this message on my deactivated V20 via WiFi.

I don't have a good solution, but I've had the same problem while traveling, and trying to get the phone to the hotels login screen. Sometimes it will and other times it won't. I would just keep getting the phone to forget the connection, then search wi-fi connections again, until for some reason it finally gets to the login screen. No rhyme or reason.

I work at a hospital also and with both my V20 and V30 I have to reconnect to the guest wifi because the phone doesn't like switching APs. Only about one time out of 10 do I get the Ruckus (firewall) page to agree to terms of use. I have the passwords to the other wireless networks but they don't allow social media so no Facebook messenger.

Call help desk and see if they can do something for you.
