LG V30 full adhesive tempered glass InvisShield True Fit

Does your regular tempered glass work well on your V30? No white edges?

Liquid screen protector will it be able to protect against drops or just scratches?

Tempered glass rarely protects against drops.
It does to an extent not entirely though :)

The tempered glass may crack absorbing the impact but of course if the impact is too much, it will still hit the display causing it to crack :)

It does provide a buffer and reduce the chances of the screen cracking by absorbing the impact. It really depends how you drop it too. I dropped a phone and the LCD panel cracked, but the digitizer screen was fine.

I was really looking forward to buying this until I saw all the add on needs and additional cost. This is one pricey screen protector, WOW!
After buying 2 different supposedly tempered glass screen protectors which turned out to be cheap plastic that either wouldn't stick at all or started lifting off after just a few hours and getting lint etc under the screen protector I'm sending them back and getting this one. It better work.

I really don't care about the drop protection. Gorlilla Glass 5 is the best at protecting from damage due to drops, but not any better thanolder versions at scratch proctection.

The more I think about it, the old kind of film protecor using liquid to apply might be best. But I don't drop my phone and really just want to avoid the small scratches.

I went ahead and ordered a kit with two screen protectors and the UV light. One of the bottles of LOCA leaked in transport but SGFRESHIDEA is sending me a replacement.

Installation took some patience but I'm happy with the result. Screen feels and looks bare now, and the touch sensitivity is great. I already had the Incipio screen protector (rainbow, bad sensitivity) and cellet (only covers flat part)

I haven't dropped my last three or four phones onto a hard surface from any significant height. My phone is always in my front pocket when walking around, and use a remote on my headphones to pause and control volume. Also, in public places I don't put it down on a table, bench, ever. So a screen protector being drop proof doesn't matter to me.

Gorilla glass displays can be either harder or softer. If it's softer (the more recent versions of GG) it will be more break resistant when dropped. When harder (earlier versions), it is more likley to crack when dropped, but more scratch resistant. You can't have both for now using Corning Gorilla Glass technology. For manufacturers, it's in their best interest to prevent screen cracking from drops. Small scratches aren't their problem. That's why the GG 5 used in the V30 gets those small scratches, frequently mentioned on AC. If you drop your phone once is a while - good for you. Maybe you're living life to its fullest.
