Hi - My first post here.

I replaced iPhone 6 Plus with LG V30. The first V30 had low GPS signal issue; it can't tell me where I am at while driving around washington D.C. area. Any, I haven't noticed the GPS issue with the replacement phone but I am experiencing random reboot issue and audio .5 to 3.5 seconds audio lag over bluetooth when watching video; like Netflix and Youtube.

Random Reboot - This happended 2-4 times a day while I was on vacation in Pismo Beach and using the phone heavily watching Netflix over bluetooth. Bluetoot to my 2014 Honda Odyssey had 3.5 seconds audio lag. Strangely bluetooth to portable speaker didn't have the audio lag.

Audio Lag - experiencing it on both my 2016 BMW and 2014 Honda Odyssey. On the BMW, it is about 1 second lag. I tried to clear cache and deleted all BT devices and try to reconnect to my BMW and the phone rebooted.

Each time it reboots, it seems to be related to Bluetooth but there may have been one occasion where it was related to Wifi connection.

Anyone experiencing reboot or BT audio lag?

I did not experience these. I did have bluetooth issues with the two V30s I tried. Specifically, there was a lot of static on phone calls made using bluetooth and my car's speakers. Using the bluetooth for anything else (music and podcasts were unaffected, as were phonecalls made without bluetooth.

Most of the Bluetooth issues have been fixed with latest patches. I had some static issues here & there plus the occasional Track info not showing up on my car center console. It's pure perfection running the latest 20f Oreo update. It all depends on when your carrier decides to roll out the update.

As for the audio lag, that's to be expected when you're missing any codecs to help with the latency. The phone does come with an AptX codec to deal with the latency issues. You can from seconds to below 40 milliseconds (with such a low latency, you won't notice the lag). You also need to make sure your BT reciever also has the matching codec (which might be the case with your speaker). You could always buy an AUX BT receiver with the codec & simply plug it in your car stereo.

So I need to wait on Oreo for the bluetooth issues to be fixed? I am wondering if the latest tmobile update addresses the bluetooth issues. The latest build is H93210c.

Just an update. The Bluetooth audio lag is due to the codec and it is probably because the Bluetooth version on the BMW and Honda. I confirmed that using a Bluetooh adapter that support AptX LL; the lag is barely noticeable.

However, my phone still randomly reboots and it is only when I am connected to Bluetooth in the car. Pretty annoying to have the phone reboot during a conference call or in the middle of a game.

What are the model & year for those cars?
